Manolo Mongil is the former singer of Top Banana, one of Puerto Rico's first and most popular local bands. He revives
the song in his life in his compact disc 'Esta Vez' and with his group 'Cuentas Claras presents a selection of his most recent
musical project. AGP Music independently produced this production on 1999. Manolo Mongil has created his own record label,
AGP Music. Has worked with local and international artists such as Michael Bolton, Mary Wilson (The Supremes), Olga Tanon,
Tony Croatto, Alberto Carrion, Cuco Pena, Survivor, Journey, Kansas, The Romantics, Starship, Miguel Mateos among others.
In 1989, he performed the winning song for Billboard's Song Contest, winnig as best performer, best arrangement and interpretation
as well as 5 additional songs that made it to the "Top Ten" best songs. In 1994 he made song "Esperame", hit the number one
song in PR for three consecutive months. His moving voice has been heard in numerous commercials through the USA and PR. .
Manolo owns a successful recording studio, Moonhill Music in San Juan , Puerto Rico. Manolo Mongil y Cuentas Claras is
very proud to include in their list of accomplishments, the invitation to do the opening act for Journey and Men at work. Manolo
Mongil y Cuentas Claras acts at the moment are the spokesmen for the environmental campaign 'Yo Limpio a PR'. This campaign
has the mission to educate and mobilize Puertorican community in favor of recycling and commits to the protection of the environment.
On October/2002, they jam-packed one of the most important venues in Puerto Rico, "Sala de Festivales", Centro de Bellas

Manolo Mongil was part of a very succesfull TV Program named, Anda Pal Cara and sung with mayor artist like Jon Secada,
Olga Tanon, Jose Feliciano, La India, Gilberto Santarosa, Danny Rivera and many others. Right now he is working on the release
of his own TV Show, A Lo Que Vinimos", that will be broadcasted every sunday from 9-10pm on Tele Isla Channel 7
of Univision in PR.

Recently Manolo has finished recording a new album that includes new songs on a more acoustic pop
